Nuwan is a highly respected passionate finance professional with over 16 years of experience in the fields of strategy, finance, audit and general management. He currently serves as Chief Financial Officer at Softlogic Life Insurance PLC, and is a member of Governing Council of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka. He also serves as Chairman of the Finance and Technical Committee of the Insurance Association of Sri Lanka. He was the youngest CFO to award as “CFO Excellence Award” from the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka.

Nuwan is a fellow member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka and a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants. He possesses a Master’s Degree in Business Administration from the Postgraduate Institute of Management, University of Sri Jayewardenepura and holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management – Finance (Special) from the University of Kelaniya.
