Company History

The story of JFS began a decade ago, in 2012. JFS has walked an impressive path ever since. Spread through four sectors, today, JFS marks its place in all four sectors. 

2020

Starting agro-food sector

JFS started its new venture in the Agro-Food field in 2020 as a sustainability initiative. In a short time, the Agro-Food sector brands were supplied to and made available in supermarket chains such as LAUGFS Super, SPAR, Glomark, Arpico, Sathosa and in e-commerce platforms such as Kapruka and Daraz.

Becoming the largest Paintball entity in the country

JFS became the largest Paintball entity in the country and started supplying Paintballs, equipment, and accessories to 70% of the other vendors in Sri Lanka.

First share issue

To appreciate employees’ contributions, JFS issued the first set of shares to 10 employees in March 2017.

Strategic fusion of SourceOne and Monsoon with JobFactory.

JFS fused two brands, SourceOne and Monsoon, with JobFactory as a strategic initiative. This strategic decision was taken on par to get the status of PLC in 2023.

Successfully completing the “Jothiya” CSR Project

Taking care of the community is one of the core values of JFS. JFS started and completed its biggest CSR project, “Jothiya ”, to serve this purpose in 2016. “Jothiya” provided a safe and well-furnished building for preschool children of Jothiya Preschool in Bandarawela, Ettampitiya.

Introducing BPO

In 2014 JFS introduced BPO to the business by establishing their third company, SourceOne Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. With SourceOne, JFS was able to provide a broader range of services to its clients. In the same year, JFS received the license to carry out overseas deployments from SLBFE.

JFS is established

JFS started the journey as Job Factory (Pvt) Ltd. on 12th July 2012. As a recruitment service provider for Sri Lankan companies. In December 2012, Monsoon Leisure and Adventure Lanka (Pvt) Ltd. acquired parallel to Job Factory.
